About This Study

Children will do one or two yoga poses three times daily for four months or in some cases eight months. This will occupy 5 - 10 minutes daily. 

Children will also have two or in some cases three X-rays during the study period. We encourage EOS X-rays whenever possible because they have only 1/9th the radiation of standard X-rays. Using the EOS technology no child will have more than 1/3 the radiation of a single standard X-ray during the study.

Those joining the study will meet with the doctor in person or online, do the assigned pose for four months, then have another X-ray. If they are in the control group, then after the initial four months they will be taught the genuine poses, and have another X-ray after another four months. Every participant in the study will get the genuine pose.

One in-person or virtual visit is necessary. That is all. However, our entire staff is available for further in-person or virtual visits to help with the poses and answer question throughout the study period.

No braces, surgery or injections will be given in this study.

The study is free.  We will reimburse up to $100 for each X-ray at study completion.
